Creator finance

The art of knowing your numbers.

The money app for content creators. Keep your brands, invoices, payments, receipts and tax reserve in one calm place, written in plain English, not accountancy.

Built in the UK for sole-trader creators. The demo opens with example figures, no sign-up needed.

Why Maison Margin

No more bag of receipts on 31 January.

Brand deals, deposits, affiliate payouts, gifted stays: creator income is irregular and spread across a dozen places. Maison Margin understands the accounting so you don't have to, and keeps you ready all year.

How it works

Three habits. Zero spreadsheets.

i.

Add your brands

Save each brand once, including who actually pays you, then add a collaboration with the fee and how they'll pay: all at once, a deposit, or instalments.

ii.

Capture as you go

Raise invoices in a tap. Snap receipts the day you spend. When money lands, we ask if it's for an invoice, so nothing is counted twice.

iii.

Know where you stand

See what you've earned, what's arrived, who still owes you and roughly how much to set aside for tax, any day of the year.

Inside the app

Everything your creator business needs, nothing it doesn't.

Questions

Good to know.

Who is Maison Margin for?

UK content creators, influencers, UGC creators and creative freelancers who work as sole traders, whether you've just landed your first paid collaboration or you're already earning well.

Do I need to understand accounting?

No. Everything is in everyday language, and we flag anything worth checking with an accountant.

Does it file my tax return?

No. It keeps your records ready and estimates what to set aside. You, or your accountant, file the return using the figures and the accountant pack.

Do gifted products count as income?

Usually, if content was expected in return. Maison Margin keeps a separate gifted log so these are recorded at their value without being mistaken for cash.

What about VAT or limited companies?

The first version is for sole traders who aren't VAT registered. Support for both is planned.

When does it launch?

We're testing now. Join the waitlist and you'll hear first.
